The Best Fireworks Around

These are the coolest fireworks in the town. (= It was so fun to watch and I think if everyone enjoyed them as much as I did then we would definitely go back next year! Hope everyone had fun! Sorry this post is short (and late). I will try to post more in the future!

Fashion Show Frenzy

A few days ago me and my good friend Nikki did a three day camp for little girls around the ages of 4-7. It was a blast! We made wearable crafts and even cooked a little. On the last day we took the very last half and hour to have a fashion show, showing all the parents what their children had made of the past few days. We cooked some snacks for after the fashion show and we were all so excited to share them!

Some of the girls were more nervous than others about this little gig, but other than that everything went as planned. Each girl went individually, and then we went all together as a group. One of the moms was so great enough to bring the girls flowers. Even we got flowers! Everyone was great, they all had their own unique style and pattern. I hope each and every one of the girls had fun!

I Got My Ears Pierced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so nervous! When I woke up and my mom said "We are going to Easton, go get ready," my head began spinning with ideas. "Hmmmmm, I guess I could get my ears pierced at Claire's............" I thought. But even that sounded far-fetched at the moment. I took Emma into Justice to use her gift card, and so I sort of forgot about it for a while. Then, when we were done we walked straight into the mall. Claire's had moved so we had some unnecessary trouble getting there.
We had to ask a security guard, which made me feel stupid, since the security guard knew where Claire's was and I didn't. By the way, Claire's is not a very boy-friendly kind of store. We walked in and the lady at the desk did her usual intro "Are you looking for anything special? Sunglasses are half-off..........." you know, the usual. So we told them I wanted my ear's pierced and they sat me down in a chair. I picked my earrings; Purple of course. Emma watched from a far still pondering the same question "Should I get my ear's pierced??" The way they pierced them was like stapling my ear, so Emma decided not to get hers done. It didn't hurt. Well, not really anyway........................
So right when I get done I text everyone I know and say the same thing "Hey! Guess what?? I got my ears pierced!!!!!!!" I was so happy! Just to make my happy attitude even more bright, and bubbly my mom decided to get us a pretzal from Auntie Anne's. They make pretzals that are huge (bonus) and sweet, not to sweet, and very moist. I think this is the best day I will have in a while. (((=

How To: Recycled Magazine Clutch

I wanted to show everyone how to make this really cool, cute, earth friendly, clutch. The supply list is below. There is not much to get, just some basics from around the house.

1. Old magazines (I used family fun)
2. Scissors
3. Printer Paper
4. Tape

First cut out a page in a magazine. Fold it in half and cut slits almost all the way through. Unfold and try to make as straight and neat as possible. Covering all trace of the fold.
Cut strips off of magazine pages. They can be colorful, plain, thick, or thin. Try to keep them the same length.

Begin weaving them through the slits. Careful not to rip the paper. If you want you can leave the extra at the end, or tape it back onto the other side.

Once you are done weaving you can choose which side you like better. Put a piece of printer paper on the side you don't like (you may have to cut it down), and then fold the extras over onto it. Fold it either way to make an either wide, or tall clutch.
Here is the finished product. This took me about 30 min. to do. You can glue a handle to the inside, or you can embellish with pom-poms, buttons, etc. Have fun! Happy Crafting!

Zoo Day

We had so much fun st the zoo today! Our first drive was to see the Polar Bears, that are by the way the new(est) edition. We decided that since we were there we should visit all the other animals. It was definitely crowded today. But we still had fun!

This picture was taken right outside of the Manatee house. We all finally got together for a group picture as our last visit to an animals "habitat". I had fun! Thanks for going with us everyone!

Bubble Blowin' Fun

She sure is cute! She loves to blow bubbles, especially for William! See, we always get these scented bubbles, they have banana, strawberry, grape, pineapple, everything. William loves them but continuously spills them because of his curious hands. Oh well, we buy more, I don't know why we buy more gourmet scented bubbles but we do. We just do. One day we will learn, that day not being anytime soon. (=

Setting The Ladybugs Free

I think William was digging the ladybugs a home. He is pretty funny like that. I don't know what is in his hand, let's hope it's not a ladybug............

We had done this with butterflies previously. We do it every year. It's always so much fun but for some reason this year we just found it so fun we had to torture some ladybugs too. I'm sure these poor bugs were happy to leave. They have been shaken and tossed by William and various visitors for weeks now. When we let them go a few were squashed by the toddler's toes of William. Oh well, I think they are pretty durable...............

Lets Take A Swim............

The littles went swimming first. Look how excited they are!

We did our best cramming as many people as possible onto this raft.

I was the official baby catcher yesterday. All the little ones lined up and waited for their turn, when it was over I would shove them over to the stairs so they could get in line again. I think they enjoyed it though.

Greer and William, they are so cute together.

Boy, was this a fun swim! We all had a ball! Hope we can do this again! (((=

Piano Camp Pics

Piano Camp: Day 1.......................

Me, Claire, and Nora. (=

Me relaxing on the couch in our sun room.......... Ahhhhhhh............

Emma, who is playing with her scarf.

Colin.................. What else can I say.

William was too terrified to leave my lap, so we did all of the singing, tapping, and shaking together! I had fun with you William!
After our Piano Camp, everyone was treated to a short swim in our pool! More pictures to come of our pool portion of the day! I hope everyone had fun!

Titanic

Last night I watched the movie Titanic. OMG! BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!! Its so perfectly heart-breaking, yet you are so happy you want to cry. The art show for my art studio was last night from like six to eight. I was debating on whether or not to go, and I decided that I probably should just skip it, and stay home that night. Plus my dad had not yet arrived with our food. So my mom had the brilliant idea to watch Titanic (she has been wanting me to watch that movie for a long time now).

I was so excited I just had to blog about it. (((= As the movie ended the credits began and I saw this: Written and Directed by: James Cameron. Oh my gosh!! No way?! Is that the same person who wrote Avatar (another amazing movie, by the way)?? Then my mom says "That is the same person who wrote Avatar".

I mean this guy is amazing! Titanic won 11 Oscars! Avatar is like one of the top movies or something! If you've seen Avatar you know the imagination this guy had to of had to make up all that stuff. Its incredible. I just love how his mind works. It always surprises you, and so far-it has never let me down either.

That's My Honeybee..........

William chillaxin' at Emma's soccor game.

What a gardener!

Awwwww. Look at how cute he is. Yes, he calls me his "Honeybee". It started sometime on our cruise last winter. We went to the Bahama's and stuff. It was SO much fun. But that's beside the point. I just wanted to show you these random pictures of William, or should I say my Honeybee. (((=

Sorry, I am a little late posting about this. Oh well. Good news is, we won! Ya! I am so happy! We had a game yesterday, but It got rained out. I also have a game tomorrow, which is, by the way supposed to be a beautiful day. I am ready to defeat the next people we play too! OK, this was a super short post, but I just wanted to tell you about our victory! (=

First Game Frenzie

Today I have my first game of my rec leaugue softball season. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Last night I had a scrimage against the same team we are playing today; The A's (The Athletic's) . We beat them and so I am not as nervous anymore. It was a good game last night. I will hopefully have some pictures to post after my game! Bye!

Sleepover Fun!

Me, Colin, and Emma, went over to a friend's house to spend the night so my dad could take a little break. It was super fun! We swam in the pool a little, but since it is still the early summer months it was a little cold. We ended up falling asleep during a movie in their basement at around 4:00 in the morning! Oh well it was terrific, and I wasn't too drained the next day. (= Thank you so much for watching us Jenny! We had tons of fun!

Bye Mom!

My mom is LEAVING today! It's not what you think - she's taking a vacation, if you can even call it that. But we will still miss her! She hasn't left yet, but I wanted her to be able to read this. Just to let her know that I care. I love you! Bye! (((=

Soccer Super Star

That's my little sis! She is a great Soccer player, and this was her last game. Afterwards she went over to dairy queen with her friend (Jenna, who tagged along). I am so proud of her! I missed her game so I had her pose in front of the fireplace for me. She wanted to put a soccer ball under her foot to make it seem more "realistic". See her medal, how cute! Every player got a medal but she was still so proud! Good job Emma! Sorry I couldn't attend your game!

Mother's Day Mani-Pedi

My toes! How pretty is that design??

My beautiful nails. (=

This was so fun! We went to a little place by our house. They definitely spoiled us. They gave us some cute designs on our fingers, and a pretty design on our big toes. The pedicure was so nice, I always love how they let your feet sit in bubbling water, it relaxes me. The funnest part was spending time with my loving mother, and my little sister Emma. Emma is a little young, but still has a fabulous time! Thank you for spending time with me! To my mother: Thanks for taking me! I had a great time, your toes look great! (=

You have done so much for your loving family, now it's our turn to do something nice for you! Just lie in bed all day if you want. Any crazy request is YOURS. Happy Mother's Day to a wonderful mom, I just want you to know that I love you. <3 (in case you didn't know that's a heart.)

One Of Those Lazy Days

Today it's cold, windy, and miserable outside. Which in turn means that we can't go outside so we become lazy. Everyone is just sitting around, watching TV, getting on the computer, or just plain laying around. Hmmm, what a day. Don't you just want to watch a movie and relax?? I know I am already relaxing. I am in my sweats and a comfy tee-shirt, with my cuddly robe.

It has been a hectic morning with sports and all that stuff. I woke up at 8:30 (yawn) and went straight to softball practice. During that time Emma had a soccer game and T-ball pictures, and Colin had baseball pictures. I got back from softball pictures a little while ago. Boy, was it cold! I am glad that they are over, now I can just rest, and blog. (((=

Craving The Water

I am wanting to swim so badly! This is like a sickness! Where is my pool-cravings-go-away medicine! I need it now! Our pool is open, the water is a light blue, Bahama's ocean water, color. I just really want to swim! I am a fish, or I guess a dolphin (they are more graceful) and if there is water right in front of my face, I'm gonna want to jump in it.

See, it was really hot outside today, and we were playing dodgeball and eventually you work up a sweat, so looking at that pretty water you just can't stand not to do something. So I got out a glass of water and drank half, and the rest, lets just say I decided to get a smidge wet. Oh well the pool will be open soon so I will just have to jump in right away. Will tell you when we have our first swim of the year!

Streaking Things Up

Check out my pink hair! Don't worry - It's washable. I love it! I hope the shower doesn't take it ALL out. This is totally gonna be my profile pic! The pink brings out the wild side in me. Ha - I wonder where you buy coloring spray like that..............

Face Painting: Part 2

I got done face painting at about 12:00. But you know how the schedule goes, lunch, school, chores, then comes blogging. It was super fun! I think everybody had a great time. Here's how it works (If you don't already know), every year blacklick elementary has a walk-a-thon. They walk around and go to different people who have different stations set up.

This year they had Rita's Italian Ice (giving away yummy samples), Darimar Martial Arts, Cyclone Gymnastics, who did a performance for us, a hair salon (not sure which) putting color in your hair (I got a pink streak! Pictures soon to come), Happy Mediums Art Studio (Us! We face painted), the one and only, super fun, Game Truck, and many more. It was funny how some of the kids took a couple minutes to decide what they wanted, and others sat down and said "I want a green peace sign on this cheek".

I am so glad I am homeschooled so I can take these kinds of opportunities! I absolutely love painting these kids faces and having them look at me afterwards and say "Wow! Thanks, your good." I also love my pink streaky hair! I will post about it later. (((=

Face Painting: Part 1

I am yet again going to facepaint at blacklick elementary, for my art studio. I did it last year (Unwillingly) and it turned out good, so i'm doing it again. I am leaving around now, so wish me luck! I will tell you how it goes! (=

Brilliant Earth

Brilliantearth.com is a site where you can purchase confict free diamonds, and recycled gold jewelry! I am big on being green and saving the earth, so this is a great discovery for me. The jewelry is still just as pretty and probably just as stable as other jewelry!

Another fact about them, is that they give 5% of profits to Africa! How great is that?! The Poverty level there is so high, helping them out is the least we can do. So visit this site, and hopefully tell your friends or family about it too. Help save our earth!

Almost to the Finish Line!

I'm so excited, I'm almost done with school for the year! Won't it be nice, when the stress of school is lifted, and you can just do whatever you want?? I think it will be great, and that's why I'm so excited to be done! I'm hoping to finish around May, 14th. I'll hopefully finish before that, leaving me near a whole month of extra summer time fun! We are also getting our pool uncovered tomorrow. It will probably be too dirty to swim in, but when we get the chemicals up to date, and clear out the dirt it will be ready to go!

This year we are doing a school curriculum called k12. It is an online charter school, and we think it is pretty good. I don't think we are going to do it next year though. We will probably just throw some stuff together, from random homeschooling curriculum's. For science we are going to probably just be doing a nature study based on the book A Handbook of Nature Study. I think it will be pretty fun. I'm gonna work really hard this week to try and get tons of schoolwork done! Wish me luck!

A Sing-Song Sunday School Performance

How cute! She wanted to go so badly. We asked her if we could miss, and just stay home and relax, but the answer was NO WAY. She had her little heart set on going, and showing off all her practice. I think part of it may have been the food, they always have a little snack table afterwards, and she can't miss an extra cookie or two!

All the little girls and boys did so well! Nearly each one of them sang and did all the hand motions! They've trained them so well! (= Some of the children did some funny things, like making faces at the crowd, or pulling up their shirts. I wonder how their parents felt about that??

Emma, was not one of those children, she sang all of the songs very well, but when it came to the hand motions - her arms never got high enough to see. Sorry that there are no pictures, she was in the back row, and was hard to capture. Oh well, next time!

Crazy Bands

Crazy (AKA, Silly or Zany) Bands: They are these new, cool things like rubber bands, but when they come off of your wrist they shape into animals, vehicles, instruments, really anything! It's pretty amazing that they stay in that shape for such a long time. Today I went out to hallmark and bought about 35 for only like $7. I guess that's sort of expensive, but not too bad. Don't you wish you invented that?? I know I do. They are cool to have, trade, wear, and show-off. Like a package of a million great things. How cool! (=

First Communion Butterflies

I'm sure he was so nervous! I know I was! But, I got sick on my first communion day, so I had to go back on another day during a regular mass. We continually celebrated Colin's special day when we went to Max and Erma's for a special treat lunch! Cake, plus delicious food, equals happiness. He got some wonderful gifts from some wonderful relatives. Thank you all!! Happy First Communion day Colin!!

A Walk In Paradise

Isn't it beautiful outside today?? I just love warm weather. The sun is such a nice change from our former cold, dark, winter. I hope it stays like this for a very long time. Too bad it is supposed to rain tomorrow, and Sunday.

Oh well, I don't mind rain. I like to sit inside and look out of my window at the pouring rain. It makes me appreciate even more, the roof over my head. Think about how lucky you are, some countries don't have many people who have beds, let alone houses. How sad. The world still manages to go round though. That's why a walk on our Earth is like a walk in paradise..............

Happy Blogging (=

I guess that's kind of a message personally to me. I've had other blogs, just never stuck with them. I will continue this one. I'm sure people probably don't want to read about my life, but oh well. It's fun for me. I don't have the most exciting life, but whatever. Normal is interesting too. (=
